Keisha Mabry is an author, speaker and social entrepreneur. She spends her days helping students successfully matriculate to college via text and her nights traveling the world teaching people how to connect. She is not a native St Louisan but moved to the city six years ago with Teach For America, and since moving Keisha has taken the city by storm.
She has been recognized as a thought-leader in social innovation and entrepreneurship by the St Louis Business Journal and has appeared on St Louis Public Radio, the Nine Network, NextStepU and Blavity for her work launching and growing Bridgit2College.com – an education technology platform – from zero users to over 12,000 in less than six months.
Keisha is a former-adviser for the Department of Education and author of Hey Friend: 100 Ways to Connect with 100 People in 100 Days. In addition, Keisha is a contributor for the Huffington Post and Watch the Yard, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the University of Kentucky and a MBA in Entrepreneurship for the University of Louisville.
